Key Features of the Tranquil Tides CAL

Filmed Tutorials: Step-by-step guides to help you master the Tranquil Tides Wrap, to be released on Betty’s YouTube channel on October 6, 2025.
Livestreams: Crochet along with Betty and ask questions in real-time.
Scheduled Zoom Calls: Members-only crochet and hangout with Betty and Friends.
Collaborations with Yarny Social: This event is especially designed for The Yarny Social, October 23-25 in Boise, ID, and open to any online participant.
Exclusive Giveaways: Win a swag bag at the Yarny Social event.

Materials Needed

Pattern: Tranquil Tides Wrap by Betty McKnit – available for free here on Betty’s website, or purchase an ad-free copy in Betty’s pattern store – 15% off with code YARNY

Yarn: Betty will be crocheting with the Yarny Social special hand-dyed yarn from Hava Some Yarn. One hank of Fingering weight (437 yards), or two hanks of DK (492) or Worsted (438) will make a bandana-sized scarf.

The Tranquil Tides Wrap is made to be adaptable to any type or amount of yarn, with 300-400 yards being the minimum for a small scarf. Get creative, shop the stash, or splurge on something special! This pattern is made for creativity, simplicity, and adaptability.

Hook: Choose a hook that creates the drape you want with your chosen yarn.
